Efficient Custom Installations
We focus on lighting and ceiling fan solutions that look good, feel comfortable and reduce energy use without cutting corners on performance. From high-traffic living areas to patios, workspaces and bedrooms, we install products that last and perform well in coastal conditions.
Ceiling fans are a great way to reduce reliance on air conditioning, while LED lighting provides brighter results with lower running costs. If you're building or renovating, we’ll help you choose products that match your layout, lifestyle and budget.
All installations are carried out by qualified tradespeople with a focus on safety, neat wiring and smart switch placement.
Whether it’s a single room or a full fitout, we’ll make sure everything’s set up to work the way you need it to.
What are the benefits of switching to LED lighting in a home or business?
LED lighting is significantly more energy-efficient than traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs, using up to 80% less power while producing the same amount of light. This not only reduces electricity bills but also generates less heat, which can help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures. LEDs also last much longer—often 15,000 to 50,000 hours—meaning fewer replacements and lower maintenance over time. They're available in a wide range of colour temperatures and brightness levels, making them suitable for everything from mood lighting to task-focused areas like kitchens or offices.
Are ceiling fans still worth installing if I already have air conditioning?
Yes, ceiling fans can work alongside air conditioning to improve airflow and energy efficiency. Fans help circulate cool air more evenly throughout the room, allowing you to raise the thermostat by a few degrees without feeling warmer. This reduces the load on the air conditioner and lowers energy consumption. In winter, reversing the fan’s direction can also push warm air back down from the ceiling. Installing ceiling fans is a cost-effective way to enhance comfort while reducing reliance on air conditioning systems.
What’s the difference between warm white and cool white lighting?
Warm white lighting (around 2700K to 3000K) has a soft, yellowish glow that’s ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and other areas where a cosy, relaxed atmosphere is desired. Cool white lighting (4000K and above) appears brighter and crisper, making it better suited to kitchens, bathrooms, garages and workspaces where visibility is important. The choice between the two comes down to personal preference and how the space is used. Some homes use a mix of both to suit different rooms and moods.
